What going on down in Morehead City with the FA's ? I am heading down soon and want to know if this is looking like a typical year. Any help would be appreciated.

From what I've heard they're still a few miles out. Hopefully all this NE wind and dropping temps will bring them in close soon.

Of course, according to those in the know, you can't catch the cl$p on a NE at Harker's.

Who told you that? NE wind is the very best for fishing around this whole area in the fall.
Fish are still a ways offshore. A friend of mine was out there yesterday and the west wind kicked up and they had to battle that whole 8 miles back in a 19 ft open center console. Big schools of fish out there though.
