Coles River Report 5/17

zip...zilch...nada...nothing...goose-egg...the big empty...fished for about 1 hour between 6:30p and 7:30p.. saw a couple of guys, Spin,Fly, and Bait coming and going with the same story. One said a keeper was taken on chunk right at the Inlet on 516 but he was a bit shifty and appeared dubious.

It has also been a slow year for me in the coles compared to years past. I use light spin gear. I've been catching some fish but not like last year.

You might want to try the lee's river which is down the road about 4miles from the coles. I've had much better luck there than the coles.
