Finally I had some spare time to wet a line for the first time this season. Fished the North River toda after work, almost dead low tide , but still moving out. Fished around the Bridge st. canoe launch. Didn't get a touch, but only fished about an hour or so. Winds were very high, so I had to stick with metals for the most part. Did well in this spot last season during May using small swimmers i.e. rattlin' rouge. Well At least it was nice to work the rust off.
Planning on going down to "the ditch" friday night. will report hopefully with better info. Good Luck
Went Fishing out at the mouth of the North River on Tuesday morning. Caught a 28" on the sand flats outside Damon's point, inside the Spit. Was fishing a silver kastmaster. Water was still pretty cold though, 51-52 degrees.
Friend of mine Caught 27", 15", 12" on frozen mackerel at high tide around midnight last night about a mile past bridge/union street. He also said there were a LOT of hits they didn't land.

I fished the mouth at the Air Force area, working inside to the South river last night for about two hours (9 - 11). I was beating the wind pretty hard with no results. Good to hear that they are moving, however.
I think taht I saw your friend with the macks on Saturday. I'll be at the Cape this weekend, so I can only hope that they'll be thicker.
