Does anyone here fish the area of Kent Narrows. Recently spent a weekend with friends on Kent Island and am wondering if there is any flyfishing going on in that area. I dont see anyone flyrodding and dont see many shops around to get any info from. Any help would be appreciated since I may be back in that area again and would like to fish it if worthwhile.

I've only been there twice,(not fishing) but it's a great area, and a lot of flyfishing guys are in the area. There is a great shop just outside Kent Island. I can't remember the name of it. Hopefully OMC, Cutter or one of the guys up there is on this board also, and will jump in and help ya. I've heard reports of some good fishing areas up there, sorry I don't know any more. If I talk to any of them, I'll try and steer them your way to let you know where to go.

Thanks Harry. The cove that we stay on just looks like a great place for a fly. There is a long grassy point that just looks like it will hold fish.

it ain't glamorous, but i used to catch consistent schoolies under the big bridge at the narrows. bait is attracted to the lights under the bridge, and you can imagine the food chain from there...never took one above 20 inches (i was always on shore), but good numbers of them. took them both on clousers and on top waters if the wind laid down...best of luck
