I am looking for a new 5wt for dry fly work and was interested in the scott G2 and the T&T vector that has just been brought back for 07. I was wondering if anyone had any feedback on those rods or any other 5wts for that matter. Thanks.

i have a four weight. it is my streamer rod. it is a really fast action cannon! i over line it some times for dry fly fishing as she is a custom beaut. it does all and more than any 5w ive ever cast. i havent had experience of g2 yet however to make direct comparison. vector is a beautiful deep t+t blue as well. it will throw a fly line if you want to, but thats not saying much in trout fishing. has made a fun schoolie striper rod this last week or so.

These two rods aren't even close to being the same. You have to try them and see which you like better.
The T&T Vector is sweet! So is the Helix!
