Yep, thought I'd "rub-it-in".......out of here Thursday....back 4 Nov, with a report of a a lot of fishing action. If not I will, of course, be forced manufacture a report with questionable numbers, sizes, spicies caught. :-%
Mark,
You should de very well.
The guides I used down there said their favorite and best time of year to fish is October and November!!!

Hope you have a great trip and get your fill of bones!. Likewise, I'll be thinking of you when I'm down in Cuba this winter for two weeks playing with the abundant bones, tarpon and snook (mabey a permit or two)...he he!...just rubbin it right back in to ya.
Keep the kinks out of your leaders,
Best regards,

Mamma mia! Ray - how big was this fish? Or is it just an optical illusion? I am just stunned!
And.. I agree. Last year I met two guys who had pictures of a good number of fish like yours (and may be even bigger) - all from the same island.
Henry, I will be waiting fro your report from Cuba. I really want to visit the place, but I am not ready to pay a fortune to operators of 4-days-for-$4K trips.
Mark - have a good time :) and catch one for me. We will go to Abaco in February.

All the fish that day were 10 - 12 pounds. A reel (pun intended) hand full in a foot of water

We are going (again! --126-3- ) to Abaco in February. Last time we were there (March this year) I spotted the biggest bonefish I have ever seen. It was really huge - I do not even dare to guess its size. The only thing I can say is that at the first sight I thought that there were two fish swimming more or less after another!
Where were you fishing?

yup, it's that time of year again, bonefish itch stronger than ever, awaiting a thorough scratching thanksgiving weekend. Just a quick jolt this time, with hours spent fishing barely exceeding travel hours -- too little time, airplanes too slow, but whatcha gonna do?!?
Please report excellent fishing from Abaco, Mark, or if necessary make it up! :)
