looking at the forecast for the next week or so, it looks to be pretty windy, basically every day through the extended forecast. mainly from the west. lower than normal temps too.
so, looks like things may be shaken up on the fishing front. i expect that the oodles of bay anchovies that have been fueling the bass and blue blitzes around montauk may soon take a powder. the water temps are still plenty warm though for weeks of action and hopefully, things will all be good. november has been my favorite fishing month the past few years. less crowds, big baits, big fish, all day blitzes.
lets all hope for a calm and seasonable november and december filled with lots of diving gannets and 20 lbers. rolling on top.
