It might just be me but......
I feel that tucked in t-shirt have no place in life (Let alone while flyfishing)
If you tuck in your shirt while Flyfishing I would love to know why?
Bored @ work.....

I have a rather large gut, tucking in the t-shirt keeps the green heads from flying up and relaxing in the shade.
Untucked the shirt rides up and then my stripping basket chafes my bellow button.
The tucked in section of the t-shirt stays dry on choppy days and I can use it to clean my glasses.
I tuck it in since the bottom has non flyfishing content.

I cannot imagine any fly fisherman tucking in his T-shirt. It seems the height of uncool to fly fish with a T-shirt tucked in. There should be a law in this regard that the resources police and CG enforced. What is this world coming to? (#$119)
Sometime my shirt is tucked and sometimes not. I even do much worse and sometimes wear socks.

Davidstrout -- You're insane. I know from personal experience. A tucked in tee shirt is ... ok ... but a tucked in fishing shirt (tarponwear, etc.) deserves endless and cruel punishment.
"I'm wearin' canary yellah!" --
Famous fisherman advertising tarponwear on famous video about 15 years ago. Year -- 1991. Quote -- priceless.

Well, can we agree on this man law. No tucked in t shirts.
I do both, whatever feels more functional for fishing that day.

I got one --
Tucked in orange tarpon wear shirt (and matching shorts), and socks worn with those Crocs shoes (preferably in clashing colors). There oughtta be some extra license or permit fee for stuff like that.

How about wearing boots with shorts? Or going into the Squire wearing your boots ( white ones) pliers and leatherman on belt of shorts, shirt (tucked in) covered with scales, squid ink and some fish blood, and looking for love? :-%

About 15 yrs ago my fishing buddy and I stopped into a local bar for a few beers .To color this a little more he had a bad starter that would not work after the motor warmed up ,so we left the truck running in the middle of greenport new york . Our friendly bar keep mentioned how bad we smelled .We were the only ones there. After about 30minutes these 2 babes walked in and order some drinks. The bartender asked if we wouldn't mind moving to the other end of the bar .He was afraid that our odor would effect his tip . we knew the guy .I don't know what those girls left him ,but we did not leave our usual tip .
the truck was still there when we left.minus about 1/4 of a tank .lol

Easy there Bronco Miller. Actually, I believe I got the heave-ho from the Squire that night. There may have been some brown liquor involved, etc. Great fishing though. :-%

Man Law: T-shirts may only be tucked into your grundens. Failure to untuck t-shirt will result in a pimp-slap and a free pair of crocs to match your tucked in t-shirt. You will also be given a 'Deval Patrick; Together We Can' bumper sticker for your troubles.
Conversely: If you rock ex-officio or any substitute, your apparel must be aligned accordingly as well. Tuck it in, belt that beyatch, leather plier sheat (WITH LANYARD!!), topsiders, rolie, and you must tell you guide at least 10 times how great a fisherman you are before you even cast.

XXL- that's right 2x. --127-3- --127-3- --127-3- Big guy. I caught a nice tuna withg Offshore this summer.....he claimed i was SOOOOO big it didn't do the fish justice. To clarify, big in the wrong places. Anyways, t-shirts go un-tucked....no questions asked. Tucked in t-shirt spells dressy...or at least going that way. Untucked gives full body flexibility. I need that, especially given the mass quantaties of Almond Joy I consumed from our "leftover" trick o' treat candy. Life is gooooood!
