Smelt anyone, anywhere?

I went over to Marina bay last weekend with some shrimp and a few sabiki's and got blanked. Coulda been the 40 mph gale that made it tough, but I was hoping for something. Thinking either Hewitt's or Hull this weekend...Any input from the crowd???

Secondly; I have been doing well to the north of you on smelt the past few days....It's easy to sell gallons of irish coffee and subsidized skoal in exchange for a dinner that one prepares for all. Winthrop has been good as has m-head on the smelt bite. Get to them with tiny swedish pimples tipped with silverside (easily caught on size 20 scud flies). If that doesn't work out tie some flies with marabou and flash and present them to the smelties.....they love em!
