Despite high winds for the past 5 days, we were able to get out on the beach and troll some.
Because we had a East wind to contend with, conditions right on the beach were not that bad and the water was still somewhat clear.
Using mainly theadfins as bait, we caught numerous Spanish Mackerel and 2 teenagers (King Mackerel). Teenagers are named such that they weight between 13 and 19 pounds. We did have 1 strike that spooled one of the reels, so the big'uns are definately there.
Hopefully, when this wind subsides this week, we will be able to get back out there and get the big boys!
Keep it tight,
Capt. Chuck MacIntyre
