I will be in sarasota from dec.2-dec12. Mostly fishing from the surf, flats, rocks, piers..etc. I am not taking the boat this trip. Anyone have suggestions on where to fish and techniques. What kind of fish should I expect that time of year. I haven't been down in dec. Thank for the help. You guys have been great.

Scott:
Not sure where to tell you to go as I am across the bridge in St. Pete--but you might try the Sunshine Skyway pier. There's lots of BIG fish going thru there--grouper, kings, etc.
Just hope for warm weather as the bite will shut down if the water temp gets below 60 degrees.
good luck--capt. chuck macintyre
