Thanks Albiechaser. Was there two weeks ago and had it tough with the north wind. Considering everything though it was a great week there. Caught around 35 to 40 fish over the 5 days and one was nearly a blow out!!!!!

thats great, you got a workout,
bring the 5 weight with ya next time, the drum/trout are easy pickins this time of year, if the albies take a break you can still get a bend.

Fished Harkers from 9th-14th. Camped on the bight 4 nights. Fishing at the point turned on Saturday after a 2 day lull. I hooked 2 from my kayak off the point that day but lost them both trying to get them away from boats. Sunday I camped in a gale wind (50 mph). I took a 2-hour walked to the buildings near the east side and on the way back I could see it going off at the point, so I ran down to the point and immediately hooked up, with a bird! It was hard to retool my line in the gale wind with albies coming at me across those flats to the left of the point in perfect V formation. I could see their dark eyes. It was 10 minutes before I could cask again but I hooked and landed a beauty on the beach. No boats no people out that day. what an adventure! My Trango tent survived the gale. Go Mountain Hardware!
No fish at the point on Monday but I met a guy Mike who had a guided day planned with Brian Horsley the next day, so I went out with him and we got 2 each. We also went after drum that day and Sarah's boat got one. see pics at

That is me with an albie. As usual, met a lot of great people. Overall a great adventure.
