AFter several false-starts; I'm finally going to move down to the IRL next Spring. Probably somewhere between Cocoa and Sebastion as I have two kids living in Melbourne.
I'm familiar with the camirl.com web site and the Florida Fishing site. Can any of you guys suggest others that cover that area of the east coast?

Floridasportsman has an excellent forum. While this may sound pretty pathetic 90% of my friends in FL were met through the FS site.

Sam is right. Check out the East-Central Forum.
Another board to check, with many members from that part of the IRL, is Floridafishingandhunting.com.
If you want to come further south and try the Ft. Pierce area, drop me an em.

Bill,
Congrats! I just made the move from Marshfield and live about 10 mins. south of Cocoa. I am still trying to figure out the local Snook, Redfish, and Trout fishery. Let me know when you make the move. I am at the Diamond 99 Marina in N. Melbourne on US 1.
Harry Goodes tackle in Melbourne is a great local shop where I have gained some local knowledge & friends. fishmore dot com....no forum but they have some seminars they run from the shop.

Thanks for the information, everyone.
Mike, Harry Good's is always the first stop I make every trip down to Melbourne.

Bill,
Congrats on your impending move to FLA. I have always enjoyed reading your fishing (even though you were way down there on the Cape) and recipe posts here on Reel Time and will miss them.
Besides, who's going to do all the beach inspections? :)
Good luck and tight lines,
Jim

Probably won't move until late Spring as it looks right now due to illness in family. Even after moving, I expect I'll lurk around the New England forum for a while.
