Ran out of barnegat inlet and headed north. Lots of bait pods w/ a schoolie here and there. Ideal bait situation for big blitz but nodda. Thought some big stripers would be down here, any luck up north?

The south shore is still pretty lit up from shinnecock to rockaway inlets. Tons of herring .. lots of small fish but some bigger fish in the mix. I have a feeling you guys will be fishing well in to Feb. this year.
