GATES POND East Berlin?

Anybody have any info on this pond and is there any access roads to it?

We fished there when we were kids 20 years ago. There used to be a parking area, then a gate. You could walk past the gate and there was a road around the pond. Decent fishing I remember.

I fished Gates all the time as a kid, used to ride our bikes from Marlboro and spend the day. Great fishing!

Last time I went there a few years ago, it was posted Berlin Residents Only, and I was actually hassled by a cop at the gate.

Growing up in Hudson I also fished Gates and recall when it was closed to all fishing but as kids this did not stop us from wetting a line there :brow
the fishing was great and law enforcement was plentiful but we could RUN then ;)
Called back to the old home front and found that you need a permit and must be a Hudson or Berlin resident to get one.
