Hey all,
I've been in Framingham for 3 years now and while I primarily hike it down to the saltwater scene, I occasionally fish the Sudbury River...but I only know a couple of places...including Herd(sp) Pond, which I understand is part of the Sudbury system. Where is Fairhaven Bay in relation to Framingham? Is it shore accessable? If not, I have a small boat I can throw in somewhere.

Albie,

The Fairhaven Bay section is just north of Rt 117 in Lincoln and is known for holding pike. I fished it one time with FishinBill a few years back and we did pretty well catching bluegill, calicos and largemouth. We didn't hook any pike, but we heard massive rolls and splashes in the lilypads, which we assumed were pike, but could have been alligators based on the noise. ;)

All in all it is a nice place to fish, accessible by canoe with a short tote from a public park on 117. I will attach a map if possible.

Dave
