Believe it or not, a friend just handed me a free week-April 1- on Compass Cay. Does anyone have any info on bone or other flyfishing there? The house comes with a 13' Whaler so I've got maneuverability! I flyfished for bones in Green Turtle Cay 10 years ago but have been chasing NorthEast Stripers(sightfishing and from my boat) in recent years so I'm a little rusty on Bahamian flats. thanks in advance for any info

i spenk a week there several years ago, there was a guy named Tucker who will show you several spots to fish. close flats near by that you can get to with boat and an awesome creek that schools of fish go up and down every day. if you can get the boat up to where the creek ends, way up in the mangroves its a sight to see. also on the other side of the island is a great beach with some reefs you can fish from the rocks. caught my biggest mutton snapper ever there on a fly. tasy treat for dinner. I may even have a map of the island. you can call me and i'll tell you as much as i can remember. good luck.

thanks for responding Rich. I'll call you soon--I'm excited to hear from someone who has actually been on and fished Compass and surrounding waters.
