Looks like I may be going to Myrtle Beach in April and will more than likely get to go fishing for a couple of days. Not sure what the area is like or what I can expect to find that time of year. I know earlier in the year the Reds can be good but I think the water may a little to warm by the end of April. Is there any good wading in the area besides the beach. I will be staying right on the beach at the 2500 block of N Ocean Blvd. Went to Hilton Head last year same time did manage to get one 28'" Red with a guide. Will probably hire a guide again, but don't know if I could sell the wife on that idea for more than one day. Any info will be greatly appreciated about DIY wading.

Thanks
