I am from Australia and looking at going to Placencia in southern Belize to chase tarpon,permit and bonefish.I have been told that it has plenty of these species to target with the potential for a grand slam.I am looking at May next year and would appreciate any ones coments who have been there, as It's hard to find any real information on the fishing.Is May a good month? can you sight fish to tarpon on the flats? what size are the bones and are permit really catchable?
