We are facing a major fisheries issue in south Texas on the lower Laguna Madre! I am soliciting your support to help us regionalize the Texas Gulf Coast and manage the lower Laguna Madre differently than the rest of the coast. We are one of only three hyper-saline lagoons in the world and a very treasured fishery. Unfortunately, due to fishing pressure, impending water quality issues, and subsequent lose of habitat, we have seen a 20 year decline in our speckled trout populations and now represent the lowest spawning population on the entire Texas gulf coast. Please help us to rememdy this by checking out www.supportregionalization.com! (http://www.supportregionalization.com) Read the studies and facts released by Texas Parks & Wildlife and sign our petition if you do in fact support regionalization!

Good AM Capt.,

I went to the site you linked above.

I'm still a little fuzzy on what the actual issue is and even fuzzier on what the proposed solution is?

Could you elaborate on your view and take on all this?

Pay no attention to my other posts here- I'm not baiting you for an argument.
I'd really like to know more, but I'm having a little trouble getting the point.

Thanks,

John Rice
