Call it cabin fever, or just wishfull thinking but I checked out the Depot area (Right where Moss Brook Enters the river before it goes under the Railroad Tresle) and noticed a large fish hanging in the outflow of the brook. (It was probably just a rock.... or a sucker, at best) (#$119)
But my question is, with all of those small feeders coming into the main stem of the river in the lower C&R area of the Millers, has anyone given this area a shot THIS EARLY? I cant help but think that a couple of those feeders have springs upwelling and dump (comparably) warmer water into the river year round...
Okay, I'll get down to the grit of this post.... When is it logical to start on the river again!! --126-3-
And should I assume hanging heavy streamers and muddlers downstream is the standard approach??

If you are looking for evidence that fishing is logical, you are on a fool's quest! ;)

But any day you can get free and approach the Millers without fear of drowning is a great day to fish. I would suggest trying for trout now more than trying in August when the temps are high.
