View Full Version : Salt Shaker variation
I like the Salt Shaker pattern; it's easy to tie and it catches everything. I have found that adding a spun deerhair head (so that it moves some water) greatly increases it's effectiveness. For saltwater, I tie most of them on circles.

I bet a silver salmon would hit that too!
Jim, could work for silvers...you headed west?
So far only Tarpon, Sea-trout, Snook, Ladyfish, Reds, Jacks, Lm/SM Bass, pike, Landlock, Brown and Rainbow. I intend to put it in front of some Stripers and Blues this summer.

Now ... just HOW big do those NW Vt. spawning rainbows get? :brow
