q? How do you keep them from fouling? I love the concept of flatwings, Kennny A style flies. I have bailed on them since I can't tie/cast them without fouling.
KA says fast action rods are the culprit and that is all I use. thoughts?

My personal approach has been a robust splayed bucktail foul-guard foundation combined with few false casts... ;)
I employ a modified slow stroke "circle cast" with an overlined 9wt Orvis T3 or RPLXi...
That works for me but, to each their own...
