Deerfield Catch and release

I fished the catch and relase section of the Deerfield this afternoon and pitched a shut out. There was no hatch of any sort so stripped buggers and leaches and nymphed as well. Saw a few others fishing and one group of three reported one brown caught. According to the fisheries website, this area was stocked the week ending March 26th, I would guess that is incorrect. Still a nice afternoon outside. :-%

Did you take the water temperature ? You are not going to get much in the way of hatches until the water warms up some.

I hope to get out that week in the next week or two.
