Pennsylvania ?

I don't see a catagory for Pennsylvania freshwater so I'll put an opening day report here. The water on the Paradise Branch of the Brodhead was discolored from someone draining a pond upstream so Saturday was mostly wooly buggers. I hooked four browns, but pulled the hook on all of them. It seemed like a slow day for everyone on the water. Sunday started with rain showers and kept the number of anglers down nicely. The water cleared a bit overnight and I switched to nymphs( a beadhead prince and a beadhead hares ear in tandem). The action was immediate, and by noon I'd landed just under twenty fish with a handful in the 18 to 20 inch range. By midafternoon there were a few stoneflies and a handful of blue quills hatching, but there were no fish rising to them. Hopefully by next week we'll see a little dry fly action.
