Going on a family vacation the 1st week of August to Rehobeth, DE. Besides the Henlopen Flats anyone willing to give me a couple of pointers on where to try some saltwater fly fishing. I'll be using my 8 weight steelhead rod and reel to start with. Besides clousers any fly suggestions?
Also can anyone recommend a guide for in inshore fishing in IRI/Rehobeth bays. I want to take my 7 year old son.
Thanks for any help.

You will probobly need to weight and see the bait that is in the water at the time. Then get back to us.
(it will probobly baby bunker so any pattern with a wide profile will be good such as a small deciever or enrico)

It will probobly small bunker so try decievers or if you can get ahold of them enrocos. also, a jiggy always works nice.

Hi again! We're two weeks from the trip to the shore. Anyone have any fishing reports for IRI Delaware?
I have the 8 weight with a new BMA V reel loaded with intermediate line, a fly box full of crease flies, decievers, bangers, sliders, and clousers, waders, boots w/spikes, and a homemade stripping basket.
Am I forgetting anything???
