Hey guys-

I am going to be in Charleston in mid may on a bachelor party. Is there anything notable that we should be targeting? Any particular guides? Thanks.

Maybe you could google the Charleston Angler and I know there is also a Charleston fishing forum, though I can't remember the exact name of the site.

Target big rooms with poles in the middle of them and if u need a guide give me a call. Have fun down there buddy, soon as u get back the fishing should be prime time up here.

I'm not sure of the timing of the run this year and your visit, but you may be able to catch the Spring Jack Crevalle run in Charleston harbor. Bring an extra set of arms as these fish will rip them right out of your shoulder sockets. There should also be plenty of big redfish, bluefish and trout inside the harbor and up in the marshes at that time as well. I have fished with all three of the guides below and they are all very good.

Capt. Ben Alderman
843-906-3630

Capt. J.R. Waits
843-509-7337

Capt. Chris Condon
843-224-4665

Offshore you should find plenty of wahoo and tuna down around the Edisto Lump. I did a couple of offishore trips down there on board Mistress with Capt Richard Brackett at 843-442-1389 or 843-849-6004.

Capt. George Gallagher is great. He runs a Hewes flats boat up in the marshes for reds and trout and a Maycraft CC outside for everything else.

Find him at: www.spottails.com (http://www.spottails.com)

Great, low key guide who knows the area like the back of his hand.

Capt Richard Stuhr may be the best guide on the East Coast.
