I had some bad luck in DOT bay last weekend no signs of life where I was. Although someone said they saw birds by thompsons island?

Same here...the two environments I caught schoolies during these past couple of weeks was a tidal creek and a backbay off of Buzzards Bay. The latter spot seemed to give up a couple of freshies while the former location was giving up holdovers (to the best of my observation).
