Back in action (finally). Nice morning with a few fish feeding actively on the surface EARLY. Used the old crease fly and watched the scoolies beat it to death. Any day we should have a good push of big fish. Decent amount of bait around.

On another note if I wanted to "post" my house on the cape for rent (Chatham)and wanted to say donate 10% to reel-time if I get a reeltimer to use it how would one go about it? Would like to rent it for 1 more week and have the week of the 4th open:).

few fish feeding actively on the surface EARLY.

Same this am, smallish fish, up to 24". Took some co-workers and got them into a few schoolies on spin gear. Light tern activity picking scraps off the water and a little diving. No real heavy bird action, but enough to spot and know something is going on.

Swimmy shad were the breakfast of champions today. hickory shad, pearl, and bunker colors all produced. Nothing else got touched.

I didn't see any surface activity, but last night I went out and got more legals than shorts with fish up to 37". The harbor bite is definitely turning on.--127-3-

Kayaking, tossing big plastic--6" salt shakers, 9" sluggos. Fish are starting to fill in their usual areas.

Last night was pretty bad conditions, but I was able to pedal against the wind and stay in the strike zone. Pedals = more fish.
