Fish were tailing in mere inches of water. Funny thing was I got these two and they were the two most difficult shots of the night. I had other bites and missed shots at the easy ones. One time I had a wide open shot at two fish in open water just milling around, about 40 feet, Threw my line right over their backs. Gone...The second fish was barely pushing a wake. Really hard to see at all. About 70 feet away, wading and sinking. perfect cast about 5 feet in front. Fish sucked it in without making a ripple and I nailed him just as easy as can be. This game is kind of crazy that way.
