Paul,

i just came back from a couple days of fishing that area. the bones were willing to eat just about anything. we were actually trying flies that we thought had no chance of catching fish, and caught them! They did seem to favor smaller charlies(size6) with a rabbit wing. i would stay in the sand, light pink, and white area of the spectrum. They were also hitting a 'bahama mama" version of the charlie/gotcha. it has a rabbit wing and a rubber leg tail. Permit were all over a simple velco and epoxy crab pattern. ultra shrimp seemed to have some success as well. good luck!
