HI all,

I recently came across this mackerel pattern and it tied up pretty nicely. <http://shop.flyfishing.about.com/fly_archive/details/648.htm>

I also came across Bill Catherwood's Tinker Mackerel pattern. This is for the bench tonight --127-3-

Does anybody have any mackerel recipes that they are willing to share?

thanks

Check out Dan Blanton's Sar-Mul-Mac - it's a versatile baitfish pattern that, when tied using different color schemes, imitates a sardine, mullet or mackerel -

You can look on his site - www.danblanton.com - to find the pattern I'm sure

Best -

Like that pattern alot.

Nice markering.

Tom,

I love that fly! Nice job on it. I will have to get some kinky fibers and give that one a try for sure.

thanks
