You deserve a better answer. The place we discussed if FULL of 60lb Permit,
and double digit Bones. It is located in warm waters, crystal clear, easy to wade, and not a soul in sight. Hint: Not Florida.:rolleyes:

Dang! Is it Paraguay? I just got a new 6 weight rod for bones, so I'm looking exclusively for places with 50lb permit or smaller now. My invitation to your trip must have gotten lost in the mail. Dayum! the mailman is getting an earfull tomorrow!

My plans got cut short. I'm down to 24 days now. Weather will decide how many effective fishing days that includes. It will have to do.

I wonder how permit taste.

Permit, believe it or not taste a lot like American Bald Eagle. Have 2 nice birds in the freezer for the holidays.
