Left the east end of the canal to find ruff seas and an empty bay. Decided to make the long run around a corner to a well known hot spot. Saw some breaking tuna as we made the corner. Brought a non-fisherman with us and of course his first cast he was tight. My second cast we doubled. As we were fighting the fish, the best tuna blitz I've seen in a long while was all around us. Pretty awesome. Both fish were 50 inches. Both caught on 10 inch striper magnets. Had a few more shots, but no more love. Saw a giant only 40 feet or so surface quickly. Pretty cool. Long windy ride home.
