We shot up to RP from Dartmouth today to try to catch the morning BFT blitz. Arrived at about 6am with no signs of life. We worked our way east past peaked hill all the way to the BD can. Nothing. On the way back, in about 250 ft. of water, birds were skirting the surface, and the fish finder temporarily lit up. The three of us dropped butterfly jigs, and Roger's chartreuse, glow-in-the-dark jig got slammed.

After we landed the 50 incher, we made our way west due to lack of any further luck. When we hit a boiling pod of tuna about half the size of a football field, we all cast or respective lures. Two of us tried Polish sand eels without luck. It was Roger's mojo that once again prevailed. His #3 red deadly dick got smacked hard. Unfortunately, after several runs and a good fight, the rod fractured at the level of the reel, and the line snapped.

Despite the acres of fish, time and other duties called us back home. I wonder how this moon is going to drive these fish?

Nice fish... cant go wrong with those jigs - Glow-in-the-dark... who would have thought!
The seas in the pic did not look too bad - different story for tomorrow (Sat 9/29).
