Planning to spend the day chasing tomorrow and looking for any recent info on surface or jigging hot spots?

Any help greatly appreciated. Run to regal sword? That bite still on?

I was out on the SWC on Sunday, bit snotty from the Sat winds but in the afternoon laid donn a bit but the swells picked up. Made for a nice ride home West.

Went 1-2 on the jig, heard minimal chatter of action. Saw lots of trollers doing a lot of looking.
47" and in the box
Saw one or two jumps but with the weather being not so hot for looking, its hard to judge if they were there.

Good luck and keep us posted - I want to get another trip out there but could be moving to Cod... need that fish buffet over winter!

My neighbor went to the sword to the BC twice in the last 2 weeks and he reported loads of fish on the surface. Willing to hit bars too.

Plan was to head out of Plymouth @5:30am on Sunday and head to the SWC.
15 minutes past the Gurnet we decided on heading over to RP to wait for things to settle down.
Set up shop off RP and were into clouds of blues and bass. Needle fish were the plugs of choice. It was easy and fun pickings from 7:30 till 10am.
We also had lots of football SBFT playing in around with the bass and blues but no hook ups. Sure made it even more fun casting to them!!

At around 10am we headed out to the SWC. Still big swells but improving slightly. Not too crowded. Saw one boat fighting a fish. We only trolled for an hour or so with just 2 squid bars on the corner rod holders. No success.

Went back to RP and the fish and bait were still there but the bite had died off significantly.

At 12:30 we headed out to Peaked Hills and that's when the fun started. Had many pods. Saw an occasional giant break the water. Marked lots of bait and fish. We had 4 hits. 2 fish on and landed both of those. Here is the larger. My first of the year. --125-3

The most hits came on a brown/black squid bar with a pink stinger squid.
