I was thinking of making a trip out to the NWC tomorrow but if there's no sign of life out there I'd rather not waste the gas. Any intel would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

was there yesterday...life east of the bank...worth the gas in my opinion. Not easy but the fish are there.

it was very very very slow today. i covered the entire northern half of the bank, east side, west side, all over- no fish on top, except for a few random jumpers. We jigged all over, very few fish marked . chatter was very quiet- except for people bemaoning the lack of fish- i think about 6 fish were taken all day. I did manage to hook a very nice fish on the jig after jigging for 5 hours, but lost it after 15 minutes to a pulled hook.--124-3

again, very slow, nothing like it was esarly-mid week. but, I'll at it again tomorrow because 1. Im a glutton for punishment 2. i an ever the optomist, so Im hopeful tomorrow will be a better day

Was there on Wed. (again earlier in the week) slick calm...fish everywhere. Lots of Jumpers, whales, etc. Place was alive.... hooked 4 fish. Fish seem to be on the bank, just a matter of being there on a day when they decide to feed i guess. Good luck out there........

Ditto on the earlier post regarding yesterday's report. Went to the BE bouy area and east to catch a cod and haddock while waiting for things to develop. Saw sporadic jumpers with no shot at jig or casting and motored all the way back to NWC and saw only a few random fish.

No solid feeds with any chance of cating into. I am getting the feeling I go wher they ain't, and cannot get it right this year. Smaller boats need the calm seas, but those days don't seem to produce...snotty weather closer to shore I can handle, but the critters have yet to establish a solid inshore pattern.

I seek the exhileration, but the fuel bills and the skunk are making me look foolish for trying...

There's always next time.
