Started out trolling from the SW corner up to the old BE. Didn't see anything till
near the BE. There was one smal pod of fish in the area. One of the fish was
practicing his high jump for the olympics, as it was clearing the water by at
least 4 feet. ended up Oh for Oh. After 2.5 hours up looking at nearly empty
water, we went bottom fishing. There were lots of dogs and shorts, but
still managed 6 cod and about 15 haddock.--127-3-

Sat - about the same for me, started on the south side of the SWC at 6 am and jigged till my arms fell off at noon.
From the BE buoy all around the western edge, nothing hooked. Saw a few, very few single jumps, 3 whales and minimal birds. Like everyone says nice weather, bad fishin.

we actually did well saturday, hooked 4, landed 2, all jigging. both 49" , both had totally empty stomachs.
