Forecasts I have seen are much like your's Chris. I fear this may be the end, though with a heavy NE, maybe it will push the bait inshore and keep the inshore fishing hot for a few more weeks. I can't come to terms with the fact that it might be ending soon. Always the optimist, at least when it comes to fishing.

I hear ya. To be honest, I do think that we will have a few nice stretches left...but the majority of what we have will likely be more Fall-like. Pick and choose your days well and you will probably get some more good fishing in. Just not for the next 3-4 days, thats for sure. Going to take some time for this to blow through and for things to settle down.

It should be fair weather next week after this stuff rolls by. Will be windy but sunny. Should be good enough for chumming/trolling Ipswich Bay and Cape Cod Bay and those places. Be a little uncomfortable but if fish are there its worth it.

Right now, blowing steady around 30 knots at the Shoals, though. It looks like thunderstorms on the radar but just rain so far. Definily would suck to be out in any kind of boat now.

Scrap the part about only rain, lighting and thunder here now. This is a weird storm. It would suck being on the water in this one.

It is moving fast though which should be good. The quicker this thing gets out of here the quicker things can settle down. My guess is by midweek it will be good enough. (Knock on wood).
