Howdy all,
Figure she'll still be fishable 'round Pt Judith to Watch Hill this weekend with a fly rod from shore?
Lookin to squeeze in one last road trip south for funnies 'for concentratin on our bass up north... --126-3-
Looks to be blowin pretty strong down yonder way at present, but the weatherman's callin for it to lay down a bit come tomorrow... 'course, the weatherman's predictions for the last two weekends and those actually experienced makes me wonder...
Whaddaya think... fishable, or unfishable....? Figure it lunacy to even try? (#$119)

Looking pretty sporty right now. Long cold winter ahead. Go for it. Nothing to lose.

albacized,
I figured that'd prolly be the case.... been a heck of a season though... hate to see 'er ending...
I slugged it out in the wind last weekend down on the cape, southside,... had a few popped here 'n there but far fewer than the weekend before... my buddy hooked up semi-blind, 3 casts into the mornin' Saturday, but she threw 'em on the first turn around... Wind was brutal from shore...
Drove back down Monday under a promised 5-10kt westerly, and found it blowin a stiff 30... lol...
had one scream past goin mach 2 right at my feet but he never broke surface 'n there was no gettin a cast off at em at that speed... fought the wind casting blind till she layed down dead 'round 3pm... lotsa bass in tight though, which a nice find... just tough gettin a cast at em till late.
g' luck to y'all if ya go!

...woot, woot...!
"... it's the hard heart that kills..."
one push of fish, a brief lull in the wind, 'n one well placed fabled "last cast...!" not too much too hope for, right! --127-3-
an aggressive grab, a good solid hook, 'n a long screamin run's simply gravy on top a tater's at this point! ;)
see ya out there fellas...
