Got two albies, a bunch of bluefish up to 4 lbs, a houndfish and this nice spanish mackerel. All within a mile or two of the lighthouse. Fun day with buddies and good fishing too.

Apparently a few folks got lucky and got into a school of big reds yesterday. Pure luck. I found this fish (and a whole buch of others) for a guy yesterday with nothing but my knowledge of the fishing around here:

I just got home from your old neck of the woods chasing mud sharks,
did great with the browns and steelhead this year. the low water up there made for some easy pickings at the DSR.
landed 12 chromers for the trip. a world record Coho was caught just down from me on Sat. nice fish.
its Albie time now, looks like the hook might produce this year, FINELY

Just was out in OBX for a week and had great luck with reds, blues and even saw more than a few sharks from the shore and kayak.

Dont think Im going to make it down for CLAF this year, but things could change with work. Hope they still there.
