View Full Version : Boat Launchs for NY Bight?

What would be the closest boat launch, for someone coming down the T'way from Catskill, NY, to the NY Bight?

Due to an auto accident on 9/10 where some "A...." rear-ended me at a high rate of speed, totalled my truck and hurt me, I lost my annual fall trip to the Cape and I'm CHOMPING at the bit for a fix!

Launch needs to be able to handle a 23'. Everyone is telling me Great Kills but estimated I'd check first. Have no problem running 10+/- miles down the Hudson to the bight if I can do a decent speed, but these are not waters I familier with.

Where exactly in the bight are you looking to fish?

Liberty State Park Ramp, Jersey City NJ handles boats to 23' Exit 14B NJ Turnpike make left after toll to ramp. Pay machine in lot . You should check maps and charts before venturing out in ANY unchartered waters! Tight Lines.
