It's a shame you really can't get a decent weather report anymore. I know, this has been gone over and over. anyway.
The small craft advisories for today were actually ,winds scarcely over 7 kts all day. I know ,my fault for listening to them in the first place ,but from what I hear I wasn't the only one to blow a perfectly good tuna chasin 'day. the one guy I heard from that did make it out said that it was flat calm and nobody was around. now I look and see that the 5 kts forecast for monday is up to 10-15 and because I'm planning to go, will easily reach 30 kts by sunday night. Tomorrow looks like crap ,but who knows.

I checked the bouys this morning and according to them it looked pretty sporty. Looking outside it would appear just the opposite.

NOAA's forecast for my area today was 6-9' seas, was in Pleasant Bay so took a ride to the break to check it out, didn't look bad so went thru the break (which was a little hairy), got thru to find that is was pretty close to FAC. A great day to be on the water in Chatham. Hope their forecast for tomorrow is as accurate as today's.

I was out offshore off the north shore today. lets just say the small craft advisory should have been advising small crafts to go fishing.:brow three tuna in the boat, all jigging, one 52".
tomorrow looks pretty grim though. good day to watch the pats pound miami and keep track of my **** poor fantasy football team.

NWC was flat calm by 1:30. we drove out there in 2 foot seas at noon, drove in through 1 footers just after 5 when the s/w wind picked up a bit.. suprised the SWC didnt lay done, or were you out therev earlier? The NWC was 4-5 footers yesterday morning.
