Any one have any experiences with the new Redington CDL titanium fly reels, I'M looking for a good reel without getting into the big bucks, I know there are probably better reels out there but I don't have that kind of money to spend
thanks all

Good choice. Probably one of the best economical alternatives to the more expensive draw-bar cork disc reels--which I still prefer.

I have all sizes and a matching set of the 5/6 size for trout. They are awesome reels for the money I have only had them one season on the boat so I cant say about long term drag issues. But we put the wood to the 9/10 this September and the 7/8 will see some heavy winter steelhead use. I really like Redington. Their customer service is really good I also picked up the SS rods this year and we pounded them in September as well really strong and light and didnt break. Any rod that can survive on my boat is good.
