It's that time of year everyone, start calliing in sick at work, ignore wife, kids and family engagements, sharpen your hooks and head to saltwater! Fished Tuesday 10-30-07, a little chilly in am, then temps rose and wind laid down. Was into Stripers and some big blues ALL DAY!--127-3- Landed over 50, and 30 of them were of keeper size 28" -- 37&1/2" some tagged all released. I don't give my spots away but fish were all over from Statue of Liberty , NJ to Breezy Point, NY. Even though once you find em', it's no brainer fishing. This time of the year I do NOT look for birds ( unless I run into them ) this is working structure, ledges, drop offs, rips and etc. I fish alone ( my choice, not because I have no friends :) ) So here's some pics of some of today's fish before release. Note tag in blue and striper. Alot of the fish had the red spots on them. ( Microbacteria or how ever it's spelled )
