I had the opportunity to fish with JJ for a few hours. I decided to take him out after dark to look for some of the Monster Snook that we catch around here at this time of year, under the lights. He picked up on the fish immediately and we got dialed in to some very large Snook at the top of the incoming tide. It was an awesome warm night on Lemon Bay, I think we landed 10 or so in four hours and JJ topped the scales at 25 lbs. The highlight of the evening for me was listening to JJ talk to the fish as they came into the boat. Clearly they were mean fighting fish and I had one peel line off the Van Staal VSB150 with tight drag.....
