or Albies if you are from Cape Cod. I had a charter today with a Boston family that loves to chase hard tails, so we headed out in the afternoon today to see if we could sneak offshore to look for white water. The wind laid down around 1:00 pm. and we shot out about 4-5 miles and found a few birds working. This sometimes is all you get in the way of bird life on the albies down here so I was down right excited. I spotted a large group of rays pushing into the tide in formation. There were a few small breaks around them so we fired off some light tackle spinning gear. The albies were hiding under the rays and as the lures came past them they shot out and exploded on the small topwater plugs.... Later they were blowing up on bait balls in the same area. They were up and down fast. There were a couple HUGE kings mixed in. I think they were eating the ablies.
