Attempted to head right out Friday morning, brand new E-Tec engine giving me MORE problems, after 3 hours and putting boat in and out of water 2 times, got engine running. Morning tempetures around 26 degrees!!!(#$119) Started off slow, then on way out under Verrazanno Bridge saw "relocator" caught a bunch of schoolies with him, then headed to Ambrose Channel, after a little searching found an acre of birds, with lots of "keeper" size bass under them. Water temps are falling quickly to 43 degrees, me thinks the fat lady will be singging early this year!--124-3

Lov2Fish- I guess you made the right choice to head south! Wish I could've followed you, but I had to get back to work! Nice fish in the pix- especially the shot with the broken pole(that's the size of fish that should've done that.)Hopefully the warmer weather coming up will stall that water temp. so we can prolong the fun like last year.
