With the nice weather this weekend, figured I'd try the Manasquan Inlet for Herring. When I arrived tide was already ripping, I only landed 1 skate and a starfish for all my casting effort. One elderly guy who was in the spot that I wanted had about 20!!! I was totally "B*tch Slapped" The amazing thing was the birds diving and working out of casting range in front of jetty, by ocean. Sky was black with birds, 2 larger center consoles were working them for hours. Felt like doing a "Rambo" and putting rod in my mouth and swimming out there!! :)
