Anybody interested in splitting a charter in may (Memorial Day weekend,23-27) out of St. Augustine? On a second note, does anybody have any outfit recommendations? I'll go offshore or inshore.

You might want to call these guys for an inshore/nearshore charter.

What kind of cash are you looking at spending. There are a number of guides and charter boats. the prices can very quite a bit. Are you wanting the boat to yourself or do you care if it is a large boat with 30-40 people on it. The Sea Love is a good one if you dont mind the party boat (30-40 people). I think it is about $60. 00 a person. Get there early so you can get as close to the back of the boat as possable. Other wise if that dont sound like your cup of tea there are a great number of guides that work out of The Conch House. They are pretty pricey though. I went last year and paid $400.00 for three people to do some inshore fishing. If you narrow it down to the type of fishing that you want to do and the ball park of what you want to spend I can prolly find a guide for you since I live in this area.

Hey Boston
I am guessing that you didn't get my reply yesterday. I live in this area and would be glad to help you find a guide. What is the price you want to spend? Do you want offshore on inshore? I know you said either but what do you prefer?

I would prefer to fish inshore. I love to sight fish, how will the redfishing be, are there tarpon in the area? It seems as though most inshore charters will run 400-600. To cut costs, if there is another interested reel-timer that would want to split a charter... that would be perfect. Thanks for your help.

Hey Boston,
I paid 400 for the last inshore trip I took this was tip and all. And this guy put us on some fish. I caught the biggest Red Ive ever caught on this trip. Reds and tarpon both should be pretty good during this time. I have not messed with tarpon much but I have heard of people catching them around the bridges at night around this time but you can get them during the day too. I will get his # for you. I may be able to split with you. I will see what I can do. :)
